Headline: Today is exactly 5 weeks to Santa's Touch-a-Truck in Coal City! 🎅🚛☀️

Ho, ho, ho! Santa is trading the sleigh for something with a few more horsepower this summer! I am so excited to be coming back to Grundy County for our 2nd Annual

Touch-a-Truck event at Coal City Lions Park, located at 460 S. Illinois St., Coal City, IL 60416, on July 11th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM!

We are bringing the community together—kids and our local heroes—for a day of fun, discovery, and connection. Check out the massive fleet and activities we are assembling to show off:

• Big Rigs & Heavy Equipment: From combine harvesters and SWAT vehicles to fire engines, there is something for everyone to climb on and explore! 🚜🚒

• Marine Corps Highlights: Watch "The Mad Ghost Gauntlet" hosted by our Marines from the Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 24th Infantry from Joliet starting at noon. They will also be pulling trucks down Illinois Street! 🎖️💪

• Static Displays: We have cool stock cars, classic cruisers like "The War Party," and trucks from D'Orazio Ford in Wilmington and D'Arcy Chevrolet in Morris ready for your photos! 🏎️📸

• Giant Inflatables & Games: We’ll have five bounce houses (one for little kids, one for older kids), a 45-ft tall obstacle challenge course, a nine-hole golf course, and a four-in-one carnival game! 🏰⛳🎡

• Food Court: Come hungry! We’ll have BBQ, pretzels, pizza, ice cream, and other desserts to keep your energy up all day long! 🍔🥨🍕🍦😋
