🎉 Santa Claus Is Coming to Grundy County is hosting the 2nd Annual Touch‑A‑Truck on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Coal City Lions Hall & Park.

 

We’re honored to welcome our US Marines from the Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment.

 

They’ll be bringing vehicles and equipment for families to explore and will be spending the day connecting with the community. It’s a rare chance for kids and adults to meet Marines, learn about what they do, and see their gear up close.👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families can expect a full hands‑on experience.

 

This is a FREE community event where families can explore emergency vehicles, construction equipment, specialty trucks, and more. Kids can climb in, honk horns, take photos, and meet the people who operate these vehicles every day.

This event is designed for kids to touch, climb, explore, and interact. Everything is family‑friendly, community‑focused, and completely free — making it one of Grundy County’s biggest and best summer events.
