Santa Claus is Coming to Morris is a 501C-3 Not-for-Profit organization. Santa Claus has organized an event called Santa Claus is Coming to Grundy County. This has become a yearly Christmas event and is our county’s BIGGEST and BEST Santa event. Families from DuPage, Grundy, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will counties attend this event.
The event is free for everyone that attends. Each year since the start of 2018, we have grown in attendance. 2022 was our largest attendance so far, with over 1200 attendees.

In 2022, we moved the event from the Grundy County Sheriff’s parking lot to First Christian Church in Morris. We rebranded this event as Santa Claus is Coming to Grundy County. This event is now completely indoors. We expect over 1000 to attend once again. Being indoors opens new experiences and venues we can do versus being outdoors. ​In 2023, we raised funds for future 1st Responders in Grundy County. Our goal was to give away as many $1,000.00 scholarships as Christmas presents to college students in our community. We presented 4 students in Grundy County with a check for $1,000.00 each. ​
Our goal in 2024 is to continue to provide scholarship funds for students working towards becoming our 1st Responders for Grundy County.

Continue our partnership with The Community Foundation of Grundy County, in which we provide scholarships to students that are working to be our future 1st Responders. Fire, Police, Nurses, and Emergency Management.

To give back to our community by assisting families with special gifts or experiences only Santa can make come true throughout the year.
