Folks, we are getting closer to our first annual Touch the Truck on July 19th. Please take a minute to see some of the updates for this event.

The parade for our US Marines starts at 9:45 at Rt. 113 and Broadway in Coal City.
By 10 am, they will enter Coal City Lions park for our National Anthem and a welcome from Mayor David Spesia from Coal City.
The event opens at 10 am and runs to 3 pm. Santa's Theme Park will be in the baseball diamond outfield across from Lions Hall and will cost $10 per family to enter. All proceeds to go the Grundy County Heroes and Helpers. https://gchhinc.org/
All the attractions are included for the $10 admission fee. Look to the right for the lineup of games and activities. We will

have for the whole family.
Be sure to stop by and say hello to Kevin Schramm from WCSJ Radio. He will be here live from 1 - 3pm.
Dunk Tank lineup will be published the week of June 13th. We will have police officers and firefighters in the tank for you to dunk. Bring your best fast ball, as they are just waiting to laugh at you with every miss.
Be sure to enjoy some of the best Taco, BBQ, Pork Burgers & Chops food trucks. As well as Kringle and Fudge you will ever eat.
Who will win the grand prize for the most Pull Ups at our Marine / Fitness Premier Pull Up Challenge?
Who will be our champion Tire Changer at our Pit Stop Challenge?
Butch and Paulie have told me they have more surprises waiting and will update you as we get closer.
The road construction season is well under way and this Touch the Truck promise to be the best in Illinois.
